One page AdSense websites

In the last few weeks or so I have discovered a new income stream. It’s not really new, even for me, but before it made me money almost by accident – now I plan to actively work on it for one or possibly two days a month: it involves a series of one page websites that are designed to produce Google AdSense income.

Each of my websites has one main page (plus a privacy policy page to comply with the Google AdSense terms and conditions). The domain name of the web site is chosen so that it will attract web traffic naturally, without too much work on my part. Perhaps suprisingly, such domain names still exist.

The information page is written to be of direct relevance to the domain name and includes three reasonably large Google AdSense ads, including one across the bottom of the page. The information page has no links to other sites or web pages (other than a link to the site privacy page). Each site is designed so that visitors will be interested enough to read the information page and then, in the absence of any other links, click on one of the Google ad links, thus generating income.

The aim is to build a website, submit it to the key search engines and then, more or less, forget about it.

From what I have seen so far, a moderately successful site one page AdSense website should generate $100 per month – a profit of more than $1,000 per year. If you set up two new websites each month, after one year you would have a series of websites bringing you a profit of $25,000 a year – simply extrapolating, your annual profits after four years would be more than $100,000!

Of course, not all of your websites will be successful and income may decline over time without constant attention, but if you choose your subjects carefully their longevity may surprise you.

An example of a site that I set up this morning is www.15-cornwall.com. I visited the restaurant a couple of months ago but only thought of the website idea this morning. By early afternoon it was up and running. I will let you know how it gets on.

I already have some other one page sites generating Google AdSense income as well, but for some of them the ideas could be copied easily so I will not disclose them here.

If you have a good idea act on it straight away – if you don’t you will lose out.

Very awesome idea! You have just discovered a trick that many of the top internet marketers use. My concern is how much content is needed to satisfy Google’s TOS? The key to this strategy is that you are expanding your niches, you not focusing on a limited number. In other words, after about 20 of these one-pagers and a few months, you will easily be able to determine the scalability. These one-pagers are a main strategy of Garry Conn…and he seems very successful. Good Luck…and be sure to spend a bit of money on each of these, maybe submit to BOTW or even Yahoo directory. I wonder if Yahoo will accept one-pagers into the directory.

Cool idea…I’m going to try it out!

Yeah but doesn’t the idea apply with web pages as well. Why absorb the cost. If you can do this why not follow the wisegeek.com model and use it in this manner. Thats probably what I would do. Recently I hired a writer to submit 25 articles daily and was going to submit them to Associated Content but decided why the hell would I.

Now I have 151 articles all perfect to be posted to 1 website. I am going to do this and let loose the hounds.

Drive some back links to each page and set it and forget it.

This is the life.

I think that if your url has targetted niche words, it will work well. Then…you move onto the next keyword! The only problem that you might have is building the right amount of backlinks to rank well!

How much does a one page web hosting cost?

CliveNovember 13th, 2009 at 8:49 am

Joe, I have my own servers so there is no marginal cost for hosting an additional one page (actually two pages with the privacy policy) website. Otherwise, you can get some very good hosting deals these days – you can probably host all your one page sites under one account if you shop around.

Cheers, Clive
