THE way to make money online
Thanks to a friend of mine, I have now discovered THE way to make money online.
Two weeks ago this friend asked me about a roulette system that he had “discovered”. I assured him that it would not work, but he had been given “assurances” that it would along with “proof” that it did. I explained why it would not and ran some simulations in Excel to demonstrate that it would not work, but he countered each of my arguments and really wanted us to try it out. His basic argument seemed to be that my spreadsheet could not possibly simulate a real casino.
The “system” was a variation on the common progression systems, the most common being the Martingale system: you bet on even chance events and every time you lose you double your bet to recoup your losses. The simple reasons why this does not work are that in nearly all casino games there are no even chance bets and a losing streak is likely to cause your bets to hit a table limit or cause you to run out of cash. This “system”, however, was a lot more complicated than than a simple Martingale.
To cut a long story short, I agreed that we would give it a try. Between us, we “invested” £100 in the system, which the online casino increased to £150. In our first session, we won nearly £100. My friend was delighted. I was amazed that I really had discovered THE way to make money online, but it was not because of the system, which I knew would not work.
In the next session we broke even and in the one after that we lost nearly £250; we actually got down to just £1 before recovering slightly. Since then we have won £100, won £50, lost £50 and lost £50 again. My friend is beginning to realise that the “system” may not be quite as good as he hoped.
But online casinos really are THE way to make money online. They offer a wide variety of games, are easy to use and very addictive even for sceptics like me. I have to say, I enjoyed my online gambling.
So, THE way to make money online is to run an online casino. I can’t see how it could fail to make money.
