Help with choosing a domain name

I’ve just come across a website that could well solve many people’s problem of how to choose a domain name.

PickyDomains.com’ claim to be awesome at picking cool domain names and I have to say that they do seem pretty good. Their ”celebrity client list” includes Aaron Wall of SEOBook, Wendy Piersall of eMomsAtHome and Yanik Silver.

To use the service you deposit $50 with them and answer the following questions:

1. What is your site going to be about?
2. What keywords are critical for your web site?
3. Does the domain name have to have a .com extension?
4. Is there a limit on how long the domain name may be?
5. Should the domain name contain hyphens or not?
6. What existing websites in your niche do you really like?

You will then receive an email with your login and password to your account, which you can use to preiodically review the suggestions. Suggestions can be marked as ‘Liked’ or ‘Disliked’, to assist with further suggestions, or, once you see one you are happy with, as ‘Picked’.

If you do not find one you like you get a refund of your $50.

I have not yet used the ‘PickyDomains.com’ service but I do plan to in the near future. By mentioning the service in this blog post, apparently, I will get the service free!
