Forums are not a waste of time
Some Internet Marketers believe that spending time on internet forums is a waste of time. However, I do not believe this to be the case.
There are a number of ways that you can use forums to your advantage, including:
- networking with other entrepreneurs who may have ideas and experiences to share;
- getting constructive feedback on your ideas and the ways that you implement them; and
- developing a good reputation.
Forums are great for Internet Marketing because they allow you to develop relationships – distance and time zones are no problems with a forum; you can make friends all over the world with ease.
These relationships can bring along all sorts of advantages. If you conduct yourself correctly, i.e., respect others, show some intelligence, and don’t over post to the forum, you will develop a good reputation among the membership.
Your good reputation means that people:
- will trust your postings;
- will be more likely to offer advice when you have a question; and
- will ask for your advice when they need some help.
This can be used to your advantage. Correct use of the right forum can make a big difference to your Internet Marketing.
