In general, you cannot beat professional paid for web hosting for service, support and reliability, but, as so many people seem to think that the whole internet should be free, I am asked frequently “where can I get web hosting for free?”
Perhaps suprisingly, there are some good answers to this question. The services provided, for example, disk space, band width, ability to run scripts, etc., vary greatly. Also many, but by no means all, of the services display adverts on your web page.
